Little People's Prep School is a multipurpose child development program and facility designed to help each child develop their unique potential -- socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically and spiritually. Since the school was founded in January 1972, we have sought to provide a positive, flexible, creative and meaningful environment for each child.
At Little People's, your child will learn that he/she is a child of God, a person to be valued for his own unique being. Our school is Christ-oriented, but non-denominational in structure, accepting children of all faiths and races. We stress those elements in the Christian faith which are common to us all.
Little People's is sponsored by gtChurch which is chartered with the General Council of the Assemblies of God nationally headquartered in Springfield, Missouri. The local church was founded in 1956 and moved to its present facility on Airport Road in Decatur in 1971.
Operating year-round in an excellent facility, Little People's provides a nuturing, stimulating curriculum for children ages 2 through 5 and a before/after school program for children kindergarten through 4th grade. A summer program is also offered. The school and staff are in voluntary compliance with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) in Springfield, Illinois.

(complete with field trips, swimming and crafts)
